Why this exists
You might reasonably ask: there are already plenty of Tamil Bible websites — why one more? Here is my honest answer. This site was born from a deep, persistent longing — that Tamil believers should be able to study God's Word deeply in the language of their own hearts. For years I watched Tamil Christians reach only for English tools whenever they wanted to study Scripture seriously, and I wanted to close that gap. My aim is simple: to let you read the Word in its full context, freely, offline, and without distraction. And I built it knowing that pastors, and writers like myself, need a clean, simple place to prepare sermons and write — a tool that gets out of the way and lets the Word speak.
Who built this
I am Benny Alexander, from Coimbatore, India. I have worked in web technology for more than 27 years — since 1998 — and I designed and built this site myself, as a personal ministry. It currently offers around 35 features. God willing, I will keep adding more.
Our sources
Every portion of Scripture and every piece of study data here is drawn from traditional, trustworthy sources. In Tamil, this site uses the historic Tamil Old Version (OV); in English, the King James Version (KJV). The more than 343,000 cross-references woven into the text are compiled from deep, scholarly source data recognized by Bible scholars.
